The Wee DenA little den. A world of discovery.Our setting brings together a calm, nurturing and cosy home-from-home environment, with a range of open-ended play materials, thoughtful routines and time to follow each child’s curiosity.
Our starting point is a small setting with personal care. We aim to get to know each child and family, and shape daily routines around their needs.
That means making room for different settling-in experiences, feeds and naps, rather than expecting every child to move through the day in the same way.
Open-ended materials give children room to decide what happens next. A basket, a piece of fabric or a collection of blocks can become many things.
Activities and materials will need to suit children’s ages and stages, including babies exploring with their hands and mouths.
Our approach includes taking time to understand your child’s routines, interests and comfort cues, and sharing the little details of their day with you.
We will confirm our communication and settling-in arrangements as the service develops.
